I have been incredibly blessed to become good friends with Tamara of TPDesign. When I saw her Key Crosses (left), I was enthralled with them and came up with my own interpretation in my jewelry. Based on her artistic interpretation and the Bible verse Mark 12:30, Jesus said"...you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart...", above and below are some examles of what I have come up with:
I love the idea of taking something old and re-purposing it to make something new. And I love having friends who inspire me! I hope that everyone has one.If you are in the area, check out Tamara's work on Saturday, June 14, from 10-8, a the Historic Mansfield Arts Festival. I wish I could be there that weekend, it sounds like fun and I am sure their will be lots of great artists.
