Summer time

OH my, didn't realize the summer had gotten away from me. I have been busy busy with the kiddos and trying to squeeze some work time in too. I've been working on Jesus Holds the Key to My Heart necklaces and Crosses, some new wire rings, and then there are all these new ideas rolloing around in my head too. Take a peek:

I have been incredibly blessed to become good friends with Tamara of TPDesign. When I saw her Key Crosses (left), I was enthralled with them and came up with my own interpretation in my jewelry. Based on her artistic interpretation and the Bible verse

Mark 12:30, Jesus said"...you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart...", above and below are some examles of what I have come up with:

I love the idea of taking something old and re-purposing it to make something new. And I love having friends who inspire me! I hope that everyone has one.

If you are in the area, check out Tamara's work on Saturday, June 14, from 10-8, a the Historic Mansfield Arts Festival. I wish I could be there that weekend, it sounds like fun and I am sure their will be lots of great artists.
